State law establishes an important partnership between Nebraska Public Employees Retirement Systems (NPERS) and Nebraska state employees.

To recognize and reinforce this partnership, NPERS offers workshops for employer contacts, bookkeepers, payroll contacts, human resource personnel, business managers, and anyone else responsible for:

* Enrolling employees in the retirement plan.

* Withholding retirement contributions from members' pay.

* Preparing and filing reports.

NPERS invites employer reporting contacts to join our education, auditing, and accounting departments for our State Employer Workshop. Attendees will gain insights into changes in laws, forms, procedures, and reporting through the Nebraska Public Retirement Information System (NPRIS).


Agenda

Our workshop covers a legislative update, a thorough review of reporting requirements, auditing procedures, and revisions to the employer manual. Additionally, we provide technical assistance regarding NPRIS.
